I aim to understand climate impacts and sensitivity of CO2 and non-CO2 forcings in past, future, and modern climate using global climate models.  My approach is to verify past warm greenhouse climate intervals against the geologic record. This unique opportunity gives us a testing ground for evaluating models and data to improve our understanding of greenhouse climates throughout the Cenozoic and in the future.

I am interested helping scientists link scientific research with practical applications for societal benefit.
